Koyla Karahi !

One of our favorite as well as a popular dish nowadays, first we thought it to be simple but when we and our families taste it,  "IT WAS AMAZING". I hope you all will love it.  


INGREDIENTS:


  • Chicken                                                                        1 kg         
  • Tomatoes                                                                     8-10
  • Onions                                                                         4
  • Green chillies                                                             6-7
  • Green corriander                                             3 tbsp chopped
  • Red chilli powder                                               1.5 tbsp
  • Crush red chilli                                                    1 tbsp
  • Crush black pepper                                              1 tsp
  • Salt                                                                    to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste                                            1.5 tbsp
  • Karahi masala                                                     3 tbsp 
  • Kesuri methi                                                        1 tbsp   
  • oil                                                                        1 cup          

DIRECTIONS:                         

I want it to be original koyla karahi so i made my own burner with coals.


  1. Heat oil and add the sliced onions, fry until brown
  1. Add chicken and ginger garlic paste let it cook.
  1. Add red chilli powder, crush red chilli powder and salt mix it for 3-4 mins.
  1. Finally add the tomatoes mix it and cover the lid.
  1. After 10-15 mins add green chillies and karahi masala
  1. Cook until chicken is cooked 
  1. Finally add the black pepper, kasuri methi and  green corriander and cook until oil comes upwards
  1. Place a piece of bread inside the karahi and on it place hot coals, as soon as you add a tbsp oil just close the lid for around 10 mins, to give the smokiness of coal

Garnish with green chilli. green corriander and ginger and serve with hot tandoori nan.

Fried Potato Cheese Balls !

Hi every one , hope you people tried out our previous recipe and enjoying it ;) Today i will share the recipe of our style Fried Potato Cheese Balls. Though we are very fond of cheese and potato's . Both of these ingredients are very favorite of majority. When it comes to cheese we always think about the creamy , gooey and shinny texture in any of the dish which is obviously so tempting and delicious.

Now lets check out the recipe :




 INGREDIENTS:



  • 8 Medium sized Potatoes (Boiled and Mashed)
  • 3 Tablespoon of Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)
  • 3 Tablespoon of grated Parmesan Cheese (Optional)
  • 6 Tablespoon of Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
  • 3 Tablespoon of Chopped Spring onion
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Chopped Fresh Coriander
  • 5 Tablespoon of Chopped Carrot
  • Salt as required
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon of Chicken Powder (Optional)
  • Pinch of Parsley

FOR COATING:


  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Breads for Breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

DIRECTIONS:


  1. First mix the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese in a bowl and make small balls of it.
  2. Now take an another big bowl , add mashed potatoes and all the other ingredients except the cheddar and mozzarella cheese balls which we made in previous step .
  3. Mix all the ingredients which we gathered in a bowl
  4. Then make a flat surface of the mixture on your hand and put the cheddar and mozzarella cheese ball in the middle and wrap it up and make a round ball of it.
  5. Repeat the step 4 until mixture got finished.
  6. Then wrap the Potato cheese balls in the egg and after that coat them in the breadcrumbs. Put proper coat of egg and breadcrumbs on it.
  7. Put oil on a high flame and fry the balls until it has a light brown color on it and cheese melts.
  8. After that serve it with sauce , ketchup or any thing u like with it and garnish with some spring onions. Enjoy it :)

PICTORIALS:


Gather all the ingredients . The small balls present in the image are cheddar and mozzarella cheese balls.


Mix all the ingredients properly.

Then take the mixture, cheddar and mozzarella cheese balls , breadcrumbs, beaten egg and a plate.


                                     
Then put flat surface of the mixture on your hands

         

After that put the cheddar and mozzarella cheese balls in the middle of the mixture , wrap it and make a round ball. 

Make a ball like this. Potato cheese balls are prepared.



Then dip the Potato cheese balls in the beaten egg

After the potato cheese balls is dipped in beaten egg, then coat it in breadcrumbs.



Like this the Coated Potato Cheese Balls will be ready.


                               
         Then put oil on a high flame and fry all the potato cheese balls in it.

Crispy Potato stick


POTATOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!  whether fried, baked, mashed or roasted, people consider potatoes the most comfort food. Hello foodies!!! hope you all enjoyed the previous Hash browns recipe using the one of the largest and the yummiest food crop i.e potatoes. We innovated another yummy recipe using the same core ingredient.

CRISPY POTATO STICK



INGREDIENTS:


  • Potatoes (semi-boiled and cubed)                        1/2 kg
  • Refined flour                                                        1 cup
  • Rice flour                                                            1/2 cup
  • Yogurt (whipped)                                                4 tbsp
  • Coriander powder                                                1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder                                                 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder                                                  1 tsp
  • Chicken powder                                                    1 tsp
  • Salt                                                                     to taste
  • Oil                                                                    for frying   

DIRECTIONS:


  1. Mix  thoroughly potatoes, rice flour, refined flour, yogurt, coriander, turmeric, red chilli, chicken powder and salt in a bowl.
  2. Skew potato cubes on barbecue sticks
  3. Heat oil; fry skewered potatoes till golden
  4. serve with chilli garlic sauce and chilled lime 7up

Hash Browns.

Hey foodies so we are back , hope you all are having a great time and enjoying some mesmerizing food out there. As we were busy in our exam and Alhumdulillah our final exams are over. hope for the best fingers crossed. so now we are here to share some easy ,interesting and flavorful recipes.

Today , we will share our style Hash browns recipe . In which we put some of our favorite ingredients and it turned out really well.

Hash Browns or Hashed Browns are simple innovation of pan-fried shredded julienned or diced potatoes with some seasoning. It is considered a breakfast food in different states.



INGREDIENTS:


  • 2 medium potatoes (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 small sized onion
  • Salt as required
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of parsley
  • Pinch of crushed red chillies
  • 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Butter (for frying)


DIRECTIONS:

 Rinse shredded potatoes in cold water until it get cleaned.
 Put shredded potatoes in bowl and place all the other ingredients(onion,salt,           pepper,chilli,parsley,cheese etc) in it and mix it up . Then make a patty of potato mixture . Heat a butter in a pan and fry the patty of that mixture on a low or medium flame .
Brown each side of it. Fry it for few minutes (at least 3 min per side) in pan until it is properly cooked.Garnish it with fresh coriander and serve it with any of your favorite sauce and enjoy it :)
