Classic Tomato Spaghetti With Buttery Pan Fried Fish


This time I want something different something red so why not the classic tomato spaghetti accompany with  simple delicate buttery pan fried fish, although Fariyal don't like fish but i am kind of opposite of her "the fish lover <3" and this dish suits fish more so i'll figure out something else for her :), something like chicken. If you are not a fish lover you can also use chicken instead of fish.
  




INGREDIENTS:


  • garlic cloves (minced)                  3
  • whole dried red chilies                 8
  • home made tomato puree            8 table spoon
  • tomato paste( can)                      1.5 table spoon
  • salt                                             to taste
  • black pepper                               1/4 teaspoon
  • dried oregano                             1/4 teaspoon    
  • oil                                              10 tablespoon
  • spaghetti                                     200g

For Fish:


  • fish fillet                                        1
  • lemon juice                                   1.5 tablespoon
  • salt                                               to taste
  • black pepper                                  to taste
  • butter                                            2 tablespoon

For Home Made Tomato Puree


  • tomatoes (remove the seeds)           4
  • garlic(cloves)                                 2-3
  • water                                            1.5 cup

DIRECTION:


  1. for home made tomato puree, simply just add all the ingredients in a sauce pan and boil the mixture until water reduces to very small amount , finally blend the mixture
  2. tomato spaghetti, on medium flame heat the pan add oil follow by garlic and whole red chilies. let it cook for 1-2 mins or until garlic colour changes slightly, just don't burn it
  3. add the home made tomato puree, cook for 2-3 mins then add tomato paste now let it cook for about 10 mins (the sauce colour changes to red), stir occasionally 
  4. add black pepper, oregano and salt 
  5. final step !!! now mix boil spaghetti in the sauce, stir until the spaghetti and sauce are well combine with each other
  6. for pan fried fish, marinate the fish with salt, pepper and lemon juice for around 15 mins 
  7. on a medium/low flame add 1 tablespoon of butter, when it melts add the fish fillet
  8. cook fish on both sides
  9. in the end when your fish is cooked add 1 table spoon butter cook for 1-2 mins 
  10. on a serving plate pour over some spaghetti, on the top or side place the pan fried fish and there you go your classic tomato spaghetti with buttery pan fried fish is ready :).
